[I] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was
with God, and the Word was God.
[2] He was in the beginning with God.
[3] All things came into being through Him,
and apart from Him nothing came into being
that has come into being.
[4] In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men.
[5] The Light shines in the darkness, and the
darkness did not comprehend it.

moving over the surface of the waters.

and there was light.
{4} God saw that the light was good; and God
separated the light from the darkness.
{5} God called the light day, and the darkness
He called night. And there was evening and there
was morning one day.

“Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it;

Romans 3:23-26

{23} for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
{24} being justified as a gift by His grace through the
redemption which is in Christ Jesus;
{25} whom God displayed publicly as a propitiation
in His blood through faith. This was to demonstrate
His righteousness, because in the forbearance
of God He passed over the sins previously
committed;
{26} for the demonstration, I say, of His
righteousness at the present time, so that
He would be just and the justifier of the one
who has faith in Jesus.

AND TO WHOM HAS THE ARM OF THE LORD BEEN REVEALED?”
[39] For this reason they could not believe, for Isaiah said again,
[40] “HE HAS BLINDED THEIR EYES AND HE HARDENED THEIR HEART,
SO THAT THEY WOULD NOT SEE WITH THEIR EYES AND PERCEIVE
WITH THEIR HEART, AND BE CONVERTED AND I HEAL THEM.”
[41] These things Isaiah said because he saw His glory,
and he spoke of Him.
[42] Nevertheless many even of the rulers believed in Him,
but because of the Pharisees they were not confessing
Him, for fear that they would be put out of the synagogue;
[43] for they loved the approval of men rather than
the approval of God.
[44] And Jesus cried out and said,
“He who believes in Me, does not believe in Me
but in Him who sent Me.
[45] “He who sees Me see the One who sent Me.
[46] “I have come as Light into the world, so that
everyone who believes in Me will not remain in darkness.
[47] “If anyone hears My saying and does not keep them,
I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world,
but to save the world.
[48] “He who rejects Me and does not receive My sayings,
has one who judges him; the word I spoke is what will
judge him at the last day.
[49] “For I did not speak on My own initiative, but the Father
Himself who sent Me has given Me a commandment as to
what to say and what to speak.
[50] “I know that His commandment is eternal life;
therefore the things I speak, I speak just as the Father
has told Me.”

{1} Now there was a man of the Pharisees, named

teacher; for no one can do these signs that You
do unless God is with him.

“Truly, Truly, I say to you, unless one is born
again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
{4} Nicodemus said to Him,
“How can a man be born when he is old?
He cannot enter a second time into his mother’s
womb and be born, can he?”
{5} Jesus answered,
” Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born
of water and the spirit he cannot enter the
kingdom of God.
{6} “That which is born of the flesh is flesh,
and that which is born of the spirit is spirit.
{7} ” Do not be amazed that I said to you,
‘You must be born again.’
{8} ” The wind blows where it wishes and you
hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes
from and where it is going; so is everyone who
is born of the spirit.”

hope and without God in the world.

{14} For He Himself is our peace, who made both groups
into one and broke down the barrier of the dividing wall,
{15} by abolishing in His flesh the enmity, which is
the Law of commandments contained in ordinances, so that
in Himself He might make the two into one new man,
thus establishing peace,
{16} and might reconcile them both in one body to God
through the cross, by it having put to death the enmity.
{17} AND HE CAME AND PREACHED PEACE TO YOU WHO
WERE FAR AWAY, AND PEACE TO THOSE WHO WERE NEAR;
{18} for through Him we both have our access in one
Spirit to the Father.
{19} So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you
are fellow citizens with the saints, and are
of God’s household,
{20} having been built on the foundation of the apostles
and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the corner stone,
{21} in whom the whole building, being fitted together,
is growing into a holy temple in the Lord,
{22} in whom you also are being built together into
a dwelling of God in the Spirit.
“For this is the will of My Father, that everyone, who beholds the Son
and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise
him up on the last day.” John 6:40

Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God.

“You must be born again”!

[8]But what does it say? “THE WORD IS NEAR YOU, IN YOUR
MOUTH AND IN YOUR HEART” “that is, the word of faith
which we are preaching,
[9]that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord,
and believe in your heart that God raised Him from
the dead, you will be saved;
[10]for with the heart a person believes, resulting
in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses,
resulting in salvation.
[11] For the Scripture says,
“WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT
BE DISAPPOINTED.”

in that while we were yet sinners,

by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath
of God through Him.
[10] For if while we were enemies we were reconciled
to God through the death of His Son, much more,
having been reconciled, we shall be saved
by His life.
[11] And not only this, but we also exult in God
through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we
have now received the reconciliation.
[12] Therefore, just as through one man sin entered
into the world, and death through sin, and so
death spread to all men, because all sinned-
[13] for until the Law sin was in the world, but sin
is not imputed when there is no law.
[14] Nevertheless death reigned from Adam until Moses,
even over those who had not sinned in the likeness
of the offense of Adam, who is a type of Him
who was to come.
[15] But the free gift is not like the transgression.
For if by the transgression of the one the many died,
much more did the grace of God and the gift by the
grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ,
abound to the many.
[16] The gift is not like that which came through
the one who sinned; for on the one hand the
judgment arose from one transgression resulting
in condemnation, but on the other hand the
free gift arose from many transgressions
resulting in justification.
[17] For if by the transgression of the one, death
reigned through the one, much more those
who received the abundance of grace
and of the gift of righteousness will
reign in life through the One,
Jesus Christ.
[18] So then as through one transgression there
resulted condemnation to all men, even so
through one act of righteousness there
resulted justification of life to all men.
[19] For as through the one man’s disobedience
the many were made sinners, even so through
the obedience of the One the many will
be made righteous.
